VSCG Goals:
A safer, more peaceful and prosperous Victoria Street that is inclusive of everyone.
We understand that we are all part of one community and any solutions will also need to consider the whole community which includes the health and welfare needs of people affected by illicit drugs.
VSCG Mode of operation:
The VSWG does not represent any particular organisation, policy or approach. Members have come together to build relationships of trust and confidence and we look to collaborate, build partnership and take actions together to achieve these goals. We are action focussed.
VSCG Values
Courage, Optimism, Integrity, Compassion, Respect
Members understand and agree that achieving these goals will require:
- Courage to Act – perhaps differently to what we have been used to.
- Innovative and Optimistic thinking – we may all have different approaches and solutions.
- Collaborative effort, and a willingness to pitch in wherever and in whatever way each of us can.
- We act with respect and compassion, and look for the good in each other and in our community.
